Laura Roberts is the founder of Autism Behavior Consultants (ABC). Laura was also one of the founding board members of LA FEAT and a co-founder of the South Bay GFCF group which is now the South Bay chapter of TACA (Talk About Curing Autism).

Laura's son "Nicky" was diagnosed with autism in 1998 at age 3. Due to the limited number of agencies and long waiting lists in the South Bay area, Laura was unable to find a clinic based program for her son. Laura immediately started Nicky's program as a workshop model with three other parents in her area.

In 2001 Laura started Autism Behavior Consultants in the South Bay with her son's program supervisor, Kelly Magill. Together, Laura and Kelly are the co-owners of ABC. Laura is the Executive Administrative Director and Kelly is the Executive Clinical Director.

Due to her son's lifetime disability, Laura is now exploring services for older children to find out "what's next". The journey to recover her son has given her the opportunity to meet amazing parents and lifetime friends. Like all parents in this journey, Laura's greatest gift is to help other parents by sharing experiences, knowledge and resources.
