Autism Behavior Consultants (ABC) is an agency specializing in the treatment of autism and related developmental disorders. Our agency utilizes applications of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) such as Discrete Trial Teaching (DTT) and Skinner's analysis of Verbal Behavior. ABA is a methodology used to optimize the learning environment for children with autism spectrum disorders.

At ABC our goal is to minimize each child's deficits, while maximizing their successes. Behavioral methods are used to enhance learning and replace challenging behaviors with more appropriate ones. The main purpose is to teach children how to learn. Research has shown that the most appropriate education for children with autism includes early intensive behavioral intervention. Autism Behavior Consultants considers each child as a unique individual with different needs and abilities. We design a tailored program which addresses specific strengths and weaknesses in the areas of language, communication, play and socialization, daily living, and academic skills.
